As the warmer weather is [finally] coming in, would anyone be interested in an all-film photoshoot this summer? £25 and you’ll get an entire film’s worth of photos in print AND on disk PLUS at least 5 will be edited. Great for all those who love the ‘faux film instagram’ look, but you’ll have it for real! [and for an extra £5 and I’ll take some digital photos too!]. A DEAL NOT TO BE MISSED.
You pick the location, and we’ll keep shooting until the film is full. You’ll get the anticipation of waiting to open the packet of developed photos, aswell as having them already in digital ready to go straight on all your social networking sites. I’ll edit some of them too, in order to make sure you get the best result possible. And if you opt for the extra £5, you’ll have an entire album’s worth of brand new photos ready to start your summer with.
Might buy some film for my SLR sometime soon. Haven’t shot film for a year, and even then it was only for college [although it resulted in the photo[s] I am proudest of!]
But this is my first edit done in Lightroom. Just a photo of my boyfriend from Australia.
I’m not entirely sure how to save in lightroom, so I just like, exported it and opened it in photoshop to put the watermark on. wah. Probably the worst way to do it. I’ll learn I’m sure.
Happy with it though.
So tomorrow I have my first photoshoot of 2013, and first real photography ~thing since being back in England [nearly 3 weeks ago!].
I’m gunna be trying out a few new things, for starters…
I’ll be shooting in a completely new location from what I normally work in. So there won’t be any trees/fields and it shouldn’t look too much like the middle of Somerset.
I’ll be using my battery grip for the first time properly. I used it over the weekend, and it felt like I had a brand new camera, I loved it.
I’m gunna experiment with some different techniques I hope.
I’m also gunna shoot in RAW for the ~first time [actually the second, but let’s not talk about that].
And finally, I’ll probably be using Lightroom to edit, for the first proper time too. I’ve had it for over 2 years and I never got on with it when I first got it, but I thought it was about time i started using it or else it’s wasted money.
So hopefully, I’ll have some wicked new photos up soon.
I’ll be going away on Thursday, so I’ll spend my train journey there and back editing photos, and they should all be ready in less than a week.
Think I might make up some package deals soon, as an incentive for people to book shoots with me, because they’ll know exactly what they’ll get for how much.
Photoshoot tomorrow woooooooooooooooooo.
Firs of 2013.
First for over 6 months.
I’m excited.
I finally have a battery grip on my camera. And I finally have a shoot in plan with someone this week.
